The OMIP / Basking School of Engineering sponsored Wed
WebConference Series in How to Fund University Startups
started this week with a Web presentation by NSF on SBIR
grants.
Afterwares there was a lively discussion on how UCSC
should take advantage of the entrepreneurial opportunities
that are available because of our talented set of folks.
We discussed the first set of CReME projects that starting
up in the arena of Evolving Technology: CRV Recycling.
Next Wed Feb 6 @ 9:30 in E2 506 we reconvene with a
discussion about the UCOP Discovery / Opportunity Grant
process and how to apply.
Refreshments are served. Left-overs are divided among the
participants. This is an opportunity to meet and discuss
opportunities with local business supporters who are also
invited to attend.
