You're excused, but you're still off-path. Gentoo doesn't really have
official collections of software (save what you get on install CDs), so
discussion of collections of software with respect to Gentoo don't really
make sense.
Now, if you're talking about the packaging ability -- which is the
only way that it does make sense to discuss Gentoo there -- you're plainly
incorrect.
Also, "non-sequitur" doesn't mean what you think it means, unless you
believe that my statement really has no relation to what you said.
