They've done a lot of little things for corporate acceptance on such
matters, including improving Evolution's support for MS-Exchange
scheduling, which has lagged even though the mail-handling half has
gotten good enough to rely on. (Even leading-edge Evolution
installations have historically had an unnerving tendency to "lose"
calendar event messages. Novell claims to have fixed that.)
They also did some really slick work on Novell Linux's virtual-desktop
manager. (I _think_ this was a GNOME thing. I'd tuned out of that
portion of the presentation, until the sheer brilliance of the screen
handling drew my attention back.) They have some very well-done effects
for moving the user or applications among the available virtual desktop
spaces, and this ended up being the first time I actually gave a damn
about 3D video. ;->
