I've been using Linux for a lot longer than that and I'm still discovering new
software. Why? Because people make new software!!
Don't feel like a newbie because you didn't know something existed. That
happens everywhere.

The one app I can't live without is email, have you heard of that? The other
is the web.
An app that has saved my butt many times is the spell checker.
Having said that, other things are just random apps you use in your everyday
life. They change.
On a final note, I like amarok.
