[SlugLUG] What am I missing out on?

My current interest would be in setting up Xine or whatever to play
DVDs properly on my Ubuntu laptop. (works fine with that Evil Empire
OS, so the hardware's fine). That would be a good thing to do at
the installfest, for me.
