Quoting cerise at armory.com (cerise at armory.com):
> It had nothing to do with "making changes across a dozen architectures".
It had _everything_ to do with keeping a dozen architectures working as
major changes occurred in related packages. Which has been the case
throughout the history of the Debian X Strike Force (which traditionally
was mostly Branden Robinson).
> Right -- that behavior was completely correct.
Put up that cash, little flamer, or kindly shut the fack up.
And by the way, I just pulled down the Debian-Unstable version from the
official archives, and double-checked with that -- same, perfectly
normal result.
Again, sorry to hear about your Seattle friend with the broken software;
I hope he or she fixes it soon. Meanwhile, it was of course your idiocy
of calling me a liar that prompted the request that you pony up cash to
back up your claim -- which I'm not the _least_ bit surprised to find you
declining to do.
Fortuntely, I spent most of this weekend productively doing garden work.
Disposing of your postings has only stolen a few minutes -- and, oddly
enough, is remarkably similar in spirit to turning over the compost
heap.
