You know, I'm going to submit your writings to a few councils on education.
Apparently, public school completely and utterly failed at teaching you how to
read!
You not only failed to grasp my point (which was in very simple language --
the kind I reserve only for "special" children like you), but you also failed
to present even an attempt at a logical opposition to my premise.
Have you considered ceasing your mimicry of a broken record and reaching a
bit higher up the evolutionary scale? Use those higher brain functions, Rick!
I know you can! Show us that you can reason and effectively address your
opponent's points!

Sorry -- are you saying that your supposedly c&p'd session was real?
Because I can demonstrate quite easily that it was missing at least one
command in order to have your intended effect.
Why don't we have another look at it, shall we?

Whence "foo.tar.bz2" in this session? Either it existed beforehand (which,
I might add, would make you a liar by misrepresentation) or this shell session
is a fiction of your imagination.
Moreover, how did "bar" get into "foo.tar.bz2"? Either that touch didn't
create it (which makes you a liar by misrepresentation) or "foo.tar.bz2" was
a preexisting file.
With serious errors like that, consider yourself fortunate that I'm not
questioning your $PATH and aliases.

I'm not surprised in the least considering I quote almost the entirety of
your messages in the course of my replies.
