Meanwhile, others have already verified that your assertion about
Debian's version of tar is simply wrong -- and I'm willing to prove it
to you in person if you're willing to stake a big enough wager on your 
assertion to make the cost of offhand libel painful.

Which of course you're not:  Big mouth, no substance, no ethics.  Just
as expected.
