[SlugLUG] Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy Eft Released

I just started an upgrade to 6.10 on one of my systems. I noted
the warning that 6.10 is not a long-time-support release, only
18 months. Also 3rd-party upgrades are initially turned off - you
will have to go back and re-enable them and do an upgrade
with apt-get or synaptic etc.
The upgrade reminds you that upgrading with a 56k modem will
take about 25 hours. :) No worry for me though!
