[SlugLUG] Slow download speed when connect to resnet

I've been experiencing very slow download speed (less than
20kB/s) when I connect to resnet on campus. This is not a
problem on the ethernet jack or ethernet cable since I am
able to connect fine in Windows XP. This problem is fixed,
however, if I go back to Ubuntu after connecting to resnet
in Windows XP. My ethernet adapter works fine when I
connect to a DSL modem and router.
