I just found this page with a bit of googling-

http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ports/releases/7.04/release/

They changed the tag from 'ppc' to 'powerpc' on this server -

ubuntu-7.04-alternate-powerpc.iso             18-Apr-2007 12:03  698M
Alternate install CD for Mac (PowerPC) and IBM-PPC (POWER5) computers
(standard download)

But it's not here:

http://releases.ubuntu.com/7.04/
