[SlugLUG] Sluglug Digest, Vol 11, Issue 3

At the moment my install penguin (literally, it's a CD wallet shaped like a
penguin) has:

Debian Sarge (i386) Disc 1 & 2 (DVD)
Debian Sarge (i386) Net Install (CD)
Knoppix 4.0 (DVD)
Fedora Core v4 (i386) (DVD)
Slackware 10.1 (i386) Disc 1 & 2 (CD)

I have a ton more blank DVD-Rs, but I'm clean out of CD-Rs. I can burn up a
storm of other distributions and architectures, but begin on DVD will limit
their usability for boot installing.

Also, for laptops without optical drives (like my own), there is the new
Debian Windows installer: http://goodbye-microsoft.com/

Switching gears for a moment, I don't know the location very well since I was
never a student at UCSC... what is the wireless situation like? I know
anyone with a laptop is going to expect wireless to work, so it would be good
to have an access point live for testing. I'm happy to bring mine in, but
it's only 802.11b.
