In addition to SlugLUG, there is SMAUG:

We meet nearly every Monday evening at 8pm at Pacific Ave. Pizza &
Grille, across from Bookshop Santa Cruz. There are generally some
people familiar with a variety of Linux distros present. And there is
pizza (sandwiches too) and stuff to drink (free refills on sodas).
