Hah - I've never heard anyone refer to Gentoo as an "easier" system. I mean,
I suppose if you use everything default out-of-the-box it's pretty
straightforward, but if you're like me and only use portage for core system
components (gcc, init, stuff like that), things can get kinda hairy.
IMHO.
