I love korganizer, but I run gnome, so my only complaint is it's lack
of cooperation with gnome. It seems like all of the problems are
intermittent, so I guess it's usable, but I'm always looking for a
equally-featured non-KDE alternative. Hopefully Sunbird comes into
it's own one day.
Here's what I've found so far (basically a list of things that tempt
me away from korganizer).
WebCalendar (http://www.ma.utexas.edu/users/mzou/webCal/doc/index.html)
looks pretty robust, it's free, but it's all html (good because you
can access it anywhere, bad because it's not a stand alone app, and is
probably a little harder to setup)
Zimbra (http://www.howtoforge.com/installing_zimbra_collaboration_suite_on_ubuntu)
is an open source version of an enterprise scale calendaring system,
total overkill for a single user, but the non-free version is robust
and solid. Installation is non-trivial, but it'll probably do what you
want... whatever that is...
Sunbird (http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/sunbird/) is
Mozilla's calendar, it does most of what I want, and as Rohan said,
development is a bit slow, but as long as you're not trying to do
something crazy, it's a clear choice. Multi-platform. Plug-in
architecture. Hopefully in the coming years it'll become feature rich.
