[SlugLUG] Cabrillo College Linux User Group

Hi Larry:

My name is Rohan and I am currently in charge of SlugLUG (though it has
been somewhat dormant for the past few months).

At present we are not chartered/registered with the University and
therefore have no funds to offer other than what we have in our
personal pockets.

SlugLUG has been mostly inactive for the past few months. Last year we
had two small events the first being a speaker from Symantec coming to
talk about storage systems and an installfest which was moderately
attended.

I would really like to bring some action back into SlugLUG; however,
the only events we seem to be able to organize are installfests because
they are easy to throw together, even at the last minute.

So currently all I can offer the Cabrillo College Linux Users Group is
a congratulations on your foundation and "no thanks." However things
might change by February and I really hope they will. Stay on the
SlugLUG mailing list Larry and watch our activity; if it picks up at
all you might want to ask us again around January.

Thanks,
Rohan Sheth
