[SlugLUG] novice needs help with linux laptop

Hi there, welcome to the list! I'm sure many of us would be willing to help.
Can you get an ssh daemon running? I'm not near the campus but I'd be happy
to ssh in and see what I can do.

Not that I'd recommend giving random people from list serve's root access to
your machine, but hey, it's your call.

Also of course I'm sure some people here are on campus.
